Article 3

Service description

Corsa operates as an intermediary platform connecting riders with independent captains. Corsa is not a transportation company and does not directly provide transportation; it provides the technology and platform that facilitate communication between the parties.

Corsa's current services include:

  • On-demand rides: Request a car in real time from any location within the service coverage area.
  • Plans and subscriptions: Schedule recurring round trips for specific days and times at a fixed, discounted price.
  • Vehicle types: Standard (economy), Comfort (premium), and Women (for women riders with women drivers).
  • Ride tracking: Follow the captain's route in real time on the map.
  • Saved places: Save frequent addresses such as home and work to speed up booking.
  • Wallet management: Coming soon — payment is currently made directly to the captain in cash.
  • Ride sharing: Send ride details to a trusted contact.
  • Emergency contacts: Add trusted people who can be reached in an emergency.

Corsa aims to expand its service and add new features continuously. Some services may be available in some cities but not others.

Article 4

Accounts and registration

To use Corsa services, you must create a personal account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.

  1. You must provide a valid Libyan phone number to receive a verification code (OTP).
  2. You are solely responsible for keeping your login details (PIN) confidential and for all activity through your account.
  3. Sharing account details with another party or creating more than one account for the same person is strictly prohibited.
  4. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately through the support channels.
  5. Corsa may suspend an account suspected of violating these terms while it verifies the matter.
  6. You may not transfer or assign ownership of your account to a third party.
WarningYou bear full legal and financial responsibility for any use of your account by a third party, even if you knew about it.
Article 5

Rides and subscriptions

The Corsa platform operates around the clock, every day of the week, subject to captain availability in your area. The following applies to rides and subscriptions:

5.1 On-demand rides

  • Ride prices are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and demand conditions.
  • The price shown when you request a ride is the final stated price and will not change after the captain accepts.
  • A rider may cancel before the captain arrives. Cancellation fees may apply in certain cases.
  • Excessive waiting beyond the specified limit may incur additional charges.
  • A captain may reject a request or cancel a ride for legitimate reasons.

5.2 Plans and subscriptions

  • Subscription plans allow round trips to be scheduled for specific days and times at a fixed, discounted price.
  • A plan may be paused, resumed, or canceled according to its terms.
  • The locked price remains valid throughout the paid plan period and is not subject to market changes.
  • Corsa reserves the right to change the terms of future plans with advance notice.
  • If Corsa stops the service, the balance for unused days will be returned to the wallet.

5.3 Women service

  • This service is exclusively for women riders and is operated by approved women drivers.
  • No male person may use this category under any circumstances.
  • Violation of this provision may result in immediate and permanent account suspension.
Article 6

Payments and pricing

Corsa accepts the following payment methods:

  • Cash: The currently supported method — paid directly to the captain upon arrival at the destination.
  • Digital wallet: Currently paused (shown as “Coming soon” in the app); it cannot be topped up or used for payment until reactivated.
  • Online payment gateways: Not currently available; they will be added in the future when available through the app.

6.1 Digital wallet

The digital wallet service is currently paused and does not support top-ups or debits. This section will be updated with its top-up and refund details when it is reactivated, and users will be notified through the app.

6.2 Refunds

  • Because payment is currently made in cash, the ride fare is paid directly to the captain when the ride is completed.
  • For a documented dispute about a ride fare or incorrect fees, you may contact support for review; the user will be compensated if an error is confirmed.
  • When the digital wallet and online payment gateways are reactivated, this section will be updated with a detailed refund policy.
Pricing transparencyCorsa commits to displaying the full and final price before a ride is confirmed. Prices include all fees with no hidden costs.
Article 7

Captains and drivers

Captains operate independently on the Corsa platform and are not Corsa employees. Corsa requires every captain to meet strict standards:

  • A valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle.
  • A vehicle registered with valid ownership documents (vehicle booklet, or an approved driving authorization if ownership is not in the captain's name).
  • Identity verification using a valid national ID or passport.
  • Registration and insurance documents, where required for the vehicle type, uploaded and approved by Corsa before activation.
  • Compliance with service standards and conduct requirements for riders.
  • Acceptance of rider ratings and maintenance of at least the required rating.
Captain's relationship with CorsaCaptains are independent service providers. Corsa is not responsible for their personal conduct, but it maintains strict monitoring and accountability mechanisms and enables immediate reporting.
Article 8

Acceptable conduct

All platform users — riders and captains — must follow these rules:

8.1 General prohibitions

  • Using the app for unlawful purposes or in violation of Libyan law.
  • Verbal or physical abuse of any party during a ride or through the platform.
  • Harassment or discrimination based on gender, race, or religion.
  • Tampering with ratings or providing misleading information.
  • Attempting to hack or manipulate the app's systems or pricing algorithms.
  • Using fake or stolen accounts or committing payment fraud.

8.2 Reporting process

If you experience prohibited conduct, you can report it immediately in the app using the “Report a problem” option attached to each ride, or contact support directly. Corsa commits to reviewing all reports within 24 hours.

Consequences of violationsViolating the code of conduct may result in action ranging from a warning or temporary suspension to permanent removal from the platform, with referral to legal authorities where appropriate.
Article 9

Privacy and data protection

Corsa respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and when we share it when you use Corsa services.

Operating companyThe Corsa app is operated by and under Bograyn Telecommunications and Technology Company (شركة بوقرين للاتصالات والتقنية), which is the party responsible for processing your personal data under this policy.

9.1 Data we collect

  • Identity data: Name, phone number, and profile photo.
  • Location data: Your precise location, pickup points and destinations, and live location during an active ride to provide transportation, calculate the route, and track the ride.
  • Driver background location: When you are online as a driver, we may collect your precise background location only while you remain online, so the assigned rider can continue tracking the ride when the screen is locked or another app is open.
  • Ride data: Your complete ride history, including routes, prices, and ratings.
  • Payment data: Financial transaction records and added payment methods.
  • Device data: Device type, operating system, and Push notification token, for technical purposes only.

9.2 How we use your data

  • Identify the pickup point, calculate the route, match the rider with a driver, and provide transportation.
  • Show live ride location to the assigned party during an active ride and provide a tracking link if the user chooses to share it.
  • Send notifications only about your rides, payments, and account.
  • Verify users' identities and platform security.
  • Analyze anonymous data to improve the service.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

9.3 Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for independent advertising or commercial purposes. To complete a ride, we share the minimum necessary data between the rider and assigned driver, including name, contact details when needed, pickup and destination points, and live ride location during the active ride. If you create a ride tracking link, anyone who obtains the link may view the tracking information displayed through it according to the service settings.

We may process data through technical service providers working on our behalf, such as providers of hosting, maps, notifications, and payments, to the extent necessary to operate and protect the service and comply with legal obligations.

9.4 Data retention and protection

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

9.5 Your choices and rights

You can manage location permissions in your device settings. You may refuse or withdraw location permission, but ride booking and tracking features that depend on it may not work. A driver can stop background location collection by going offline or changing the permission in device settings.

Your data rightsYou may request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your stored data at any time by contacting support.
Article 10

Limitation of liability

Corsa acts as a technology intermediary connecting riders with captains. Accordingly:

  • Corsa is not responsible for accidents or damage resulting from a captain's conduct during a ride, without prejudice to the user's right to make a claim directly against the captain.
  • Corsa is not responsible for delays or unavailable cars caused by circumstances beyond its control.
  • Corsa is not responsible for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
  • Corsa will limit its liability to the fullest extent permitted by the laws applicable in Libya.
Important noticeCorsa encourages all users to obtain personal insurance because the transportation contract is between you and the captain, not between you and Corsa.
Article 11

Ending the service and account suspension

11.1 By the user

You may close your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days of the request, except for data required to be retained by law.
